Do I need to be good at climbing trees or extreme adventure?
No special ability is required to participate.
What happens if it's raining?
The province of Guanacaste in Costa Rica is perfect to visit year-round. In the event of inclement weather, activities may be delayed or rescheduled.
Do I need a reservation?
We advise you to book prior to coming to Diamante Eco Adventure Park in Costa Rica.
What do I need to wear?
- Wear comfortable clothes and fully enclosed-toed shoes with rigid soles. Do not wear flip-flops, open-toed shoes, or other forms of slip-on footwear.
- Long hair must be tied back and jewelry removed.
Are there any age, height or weight restrictions?
- For safety reasons, children riding the Zip Line Aerial Adventure must weigh at least 60 lbs. (30 kilos)
- Maximum weight is 280 lbs. (130 kilos).
- Children 10 or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All children under 18 years of age will need parental or a guardian’s consent for park activities.
How long does it take to complete the zip line course?
Our dual-line system allows guests to ride side by side, including Costa Rica’s longest zipline – total tour is approximately 2 hours.
What are the hours of operation?
Diamante Eco Adventure Park is open to the public seven days a week, 365 days a year 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

SANCTUARY RULES
Sanctuary rules are created for the safety and welfare of both our guests and the animals. Please obey all rules, guidelines, and posted signs throughout park property. The Sanctuary staff will remove anyone who violates the rules and guidelines. We reserve the right to escort people who act against the rules out of the park. Firearms are not allowed in the park.
1. RULE NUMBER ONE — ENJOY YOUR VISIT!
Diamante’s Animal Sanctuary is a wonderful place to explore, learn, and relax. Our rules help ensure an enjoyable and safe experience for all visitors.
2. RESPECT THE ANIMALS
Please treat the Sanctuary animals with the respect they deserve. Diamante Eco Adventure Park is their home. Do not yell at the animals, do not knock on their enclosures, and do not throw objects into their habitats.
3. WILD ANIMALS
Observe wildlife in a peaceful manner and at a respectful distance, never handle, chase, or harass the animals and do not interfere with its natural behavior. Take pictures at a respectful distance.
4. PHOTOGRAPHS
Flash photography is not permitted. Reject any practice that allows you to take photographs while hugging or holding a wild animal. Do not disturb, handle, or attract the animals with noise, food, or objects to take a picture.
5. DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS
The animals at Diamante have veterinarian-approved and formulated diets to ensure their health and wellbeing. Human food may make them sick.
6. RESPECT YOUR BOUNDARIES
Never cross any fence or barrier in the Sanctuary. Do not try to touch the animals. This is for the safety of both our visitors and our animals.
7. SUPERVISION
The safety of children is very important to us and they must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times. Unaccompanied children (15 and under) will not be permitted to enter the park. School students must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times.
8. DRESS CODE
Shirts and shoes are required while in the Sanctuary.
9. PUBLIC HEALTH
As of reopening in July 2020, face coverings are required at all times during your visit, in accordance with the Costa Rican health policies. We require every individual who is age 3 and up to cover their nose and mouth with a mask when on the Sanctuary. Visitors must respect social distancing.
10. NO SMOKING/VAPING
To ensure the safety and health of the animals, guests, and staff, smoking or vaping are not permitted on the property. This includes the parking lot.
11. DON’T LITTER
Place all rubbish in the bins provided and use the recycling ones when appropriate. Help us to keep the Sanctuary clean.
12. PETS
All pets are prohibited from the Sanctuary to protect both the Sanctuary animals and your animals. Do not leave pets in your car while you are in the park or will we ask you to leave and return without them. Service animals are allowed in the park.
