JAGUARS
Meet the most powerful feline of the Americas: the jaguar, symbol of strength and mystery.

Meet the mighty jaguar, the largest cat in the Americas and the third-largest in the world. Known for its golden coat covered in black rosettes, this powerful predator roams from Mexico to Argentina. In Costa Rica, they are seen as symbols of power and guardians of the rainforest. Though still present in protected areas, jaguars are a near-threatened species, and keeping their forest homes safe helps them thrive in the wild.
PANTHERA ONCA
Jaguars belong to the cat family Felidae, and their scientific name is Panthera Onca.
