Zip Lining Tours Costa Rica

Here is all you need to know to experience this amazing adventure tour:

Tour Times

The park opens every day from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Canopy and Zip Line Tours are offered in the morning and in the afternoon to create the best adventure schedule for you.  The morning tours run every 30-minutes starting at 9:00 am. The afternoons the tours are offered every hour but depending on the daily demand they often accommodate reservations every 30 minutes as well. Afternoon tours begin at 1:00 pm and the latest one is at 3:00 pm.

So, tour times go as follow:

Morning: 9:00 am, 9:30 am, 10:00 am, 10:30 am, 11:00 am and 11:30 am.

Afternoon: 1:00 pm, 1:30*pm, 2:00 pm, 2:30* pm, 3:00 pm and 3:30* pm.

*Only ran if daily demand requires it.

 Zip Line Tour Capacity

To ensure the optimum experience, the zip line tour has a maximum capacity of 22 people per tour time. Therefore, it is highly recommended to make reservations or call the park in advance to ask about availability. During rainy season accommodating walk-ins is easier, but during high season it can’t be guaranteed that there will be space available at the desired tour time. So, if you are looking for a specific tour time and are coming with a group of people, make sure to reserve the zip line tour time in advanced.

*Note*: If a reservation doesn’t show up 20 minutes before the time slot, Diamante reserves the right to release the reserved spaces and fill them with the waiting list.

Equipment

Zip Line Tour Duration

Every zip line tour starts with a 10-minute overview and safety talk about the circuit. The zip line circuit can take from one hour to an hour and a half to complete the full zip line course. The total time will depend on the number of people per tour group. A full group will take up to an hour and a half for the whole group to finish the complete circuit.

Restrictions and limitations

Diamante zip line’s primary restriction is weight. For safety reasons, children need to weigh at least 60 lbs. (27 kilos) to do the short circuit. For the superman-style line, a minimum weight of 85 lbs (40 kilos) is required. Maximum weight is 280 lbs (130 kilos). Children 10 or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All children under 18 years of age will need parental or a guardian’s consent for park activities.

• Adventure Pass ($118): all day adventure pass! It includes the zip line tour, animal sanctuary entrance, cultural experience at the botanical gardens, beach activities such as stand up paddle board, kayak, and snorkel, and it includes a Costa Rican buffet lunch with an amazing ocean view.
